Gerry Grant and Dana Tyler anchor from a small temporary set as the station prepares to rebrand to 'News 2'. Grant was one of the first hires for the new format, but he didn't last long at all. The opens seen here are the second generation of opens with News Force. Originally they had presenter talent, but were dropped by the time of the mass firings. 2nd clip – A more traditional version of the open, from the normal set with Vince DeMentri (now at WCAU in Philadelphia). This version includes a caption to indicate what broadcast you're watching. Interestingly, Lou Young calls the newscast 'Channel 2 News': the old name was used widely in 2 News' last few months.
