This consumer programme was the natural successor to Thames' Money-Go-Round when many ITV shows transferred to Channel 4. This edition was recorded during late October 1984 when Thames employees went on strike regarding overtime payments for transmission staff. The strike lasted just over a week before a deal was struck.
