FIVE 2008 – 2011 Branding

On October 6th 2008. Five relaunched with a new look and logo, created by Dixonbaxi including the new strapline “We are Five”.

Dixonbaxi said “A key part of our strategy was to avoid the typical logo driven idents so we developed ‘Brand Bursts’. Fun, eclectic and stimulating they are a reflection of the brand tonally rather than logo devices. Each is a different take on a facet of Five. They will become a rolling process with ongoing commissions making the channel everchanging and always evolving. We approached some of the best creative teams and production companies in the UK, US and beyond. Over 100 submissions were narrowed to a set of twenty ideas that went into production. Teams as varied as Partizan, Aardman Animations, Buck, Flynn and Rokkit were selected to create bursts.”
