CTV stations got a new look in 2004, keeping the leaf motif except adding local images to the opener. CFTO in Toronto had this look 7 months prior to the rest of the network. On Monday February 28, CFTO News went generic and now refers itself as "CTV News Toronto". When the remaining eight CTV affiliates will go generic remains to be seen.
