Netflix started broadcasting self-commissioned original content in February 2013, and has since expanded to cover all genres.

2019 – Present

On 1st February 2019 Netflix unveiled a new Ident. The new animation begins with the familiar ‘N’ ribbon animation, but then it warps the viewer through a spectrum of light. It’s meant to evoke a sense of depth, like the feeling of walking into a movie theatre.
