Look North (Sunderland Close)

This dates from 8th May 1992, and was the day before the FA Cu final, when Liverpool beat Sunderland 2-0. That week, in fact on the Thursday, the result of a competition run by the government was announced, where a town would be upgraded to city status, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth 2nd being on the throne. Sunderland was the winning town, which also explained the special programme on the Sunday night.
