BBC Northwest Tonight 1993 – 1995

A new set and set of titles were introduced on 13^th September 1993 as Philip Hayton joined the region. Not a map of the North West in sight. Instead we have a rather classy set of titles featuring glass letters spelling out North West Tonight, oddly. This look was created by in-house BBC graphic designers Ian Bate and Gareth Price.
