BBC South Today – Final broadcast

After 30 years the BBC decided that it was time to look for new premises in Southampton. Saturday the 7th September 1991 saw the last programme from South Western House delivered by Mr South Today himself, Bruce Parker. At the end of the bulletin Bruce gets up from behind the desk and heads for the door, turning the lights off on his way out!
