Butterflies

Ria Parkinson (Wendy Craig), a content and devoted wife living in the suburbs, finds herself confronting the realisation that life may be slipping away from her. As her husband, Ben (Geoffrey Palmer), a passionate butterfly collector and dentist, inadvertently takes her for granted, Ria grapples with a growing sense of dissatisfaction. When an opportunity for an extramarital affair arises, Ria is faced with the difficult decision of determining the depth of her love for her husband and her commitment to their marriage. A total of 28 episodes were broadcast over 4 series between 1978 and 1983.
