Channel Four News 1990 – 1995

Channel 4 news updated its look in 1990. The logo for the news matches the planned 1991 logo which was never utilised.

In 1993 the channel 4 news logo was redesign to bring it back into line with the current channel 4 logo.

The Channel 4 Daily

Channel 4 Daily launched 3 April 1989, with Carol Barnes. It was conceived as a television newspaper, which included a number of segments like Business, entertainment, sport, world news live from Tokyo & Washington, Countdown Masters – an abbreviated version of Countdown and a cartoon slot called Comic Book. By 1991 Dermot Murnaghan become the presenter. Due to continuing low ratings it finished on 25 September 1992, being replaced by The Big Breakfast.
