An afternoon edition of Sky News with Mark Longhurst and Kay Burley right clip – For breaking news the videowall behind the presenters would always turn red, which was a great attention grabbing technique in alterting viewers to the latest news. Sky dropped this all red backdrop for an all-white theme in 2005, which was a shame.
