Aktuelle Kamera

East German state television's news programme, Aktuelle Kamera, with its late edition (hence probably on channel 2) promising live coverage of tomorrow's festivities in Moscow for the 70th anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution. The celebrations will conclude with a parade and a demonstration by the workers. The live coverage will be shown simultaneously on both state TV channels from 7.55am – after all, why would any patriotic comrade want to watch anything else?!
