Good Morning with Anne & Nick

Since the creation of ITV's This Morning in 1988, the BBC has tried on numerous occasions to create a rival show. Good Morning turned up in October 1992 and lasted for four years. Nick Owen and Anne Diamond were the hosts. The first series gave ITV a run for its money, but series two lose out in the ratings war. It was claimed afterwards the real reason it was axed was due to the new incoming controller Michael Jackson did not like it, It seems BBC one didn;t like him and he was given the chop a year later.
