Set in a shop in the sleepy hamlet of "Tickle" on the River "Tum" (ingenious don't you think?). Folk singer Ralph McTell would play guitar and sing songs, and would be visited by a different tradesmand every week, for example a Postman or Milkman (played by Kenny Lynch) or a handyman (played by Tim Healy), and they would tell stories and sing songs. … Classic stuff!
