Produced by the makers of Thomas the Tank Engine, Clearwater Features. Tugs follows two competing tugboat fleets in the 1920s Bigg City Port and was narrated by Patrick Allen. Scenes from the series were later edited into the american programme Salty's Lighthouse which was also broadcast on Channel Four.
