Side by Side

This is a two series sit-com broadcast 1992 – 1993. Gareth Hunt stars as a working class plumber made good and Louisa Rix as upper middle class widow next door. The comedy was to be from her objections to his rather tasteless (and pointless) additions to his home. However, she was so snobby and obnoxious, you kept hoping a TR7 would roar into view, Purdey jump out and give her a well deserved kick up the backside!
