Sorry!

The Timothy Lumsden character became a byword for single men living with their parents well past thirty. Ronnie Corbett scored his biggest sitcom success as the shy librarian manipulated into a sense of obligation to his domineering mother yet also desiring to escape. Interplay between Corbett and Barbara Lott as Mrs Lumsden was both humourous and dark in contemplation of Tim's predicament. Gaynor Colbourn and Hugh Wisdom composed the acclaimed title music.
