The soap quickly became cult viewing, and attracted huge ratings over 18 million, and the show was given an early evening repeat after CBBC at 5.30pm. The episode on the left (introduced by Andy Crane and Ed The Duck) was written by one Ian Smith, the same Ian Smith who played Harold Bishop in the show.
