Top of the Pops

Top of the Pops was a music chart programme made by the BBC. It ran from 1st January 1964 to 30th July 2006. It was the world’s longest-running weekly music show. It was produced at the BBC’s Dickenson Road Studios in Manchester for the first two years but was then relocated to London.
