Children’s BBC 1994 – 1997 Branding

In September 1994, Children BBC was given a major overhaul. Pres A, become the new home for the strand. Pres A had been used for the past few years for school holiday programmes. The Broom cupbroads was retried which meant the presenters were no longer operating the broadcast equipment. The presentation was given a refreash, which generated over 15 new stings designed by BBC Manchester’s Graphic Design Department.

On 16th June 1997 CBBC moved from Studio A, to studio 9. Dick and Dom, along with Kirsten O’Brien had the pleasure of providing the first links.
