ABC Monday Night Football (1)

The end of an era – the final Monday Night Football on ABC. Two clips here – the first being the open commemorating MNF's ABC history with Al Michaels and 2/3rd of the best-remembered announcing team (Frank Gifford and Don Meredith). The second clip is a montage of the famous Hank Williams Jr. introductions throughout the years. Hank followed the format to ESPN: Michaels did not. Michaels was "traded" from ABC to NBC so that Disney could pick up NBC's rights to Walt Disney's original creation, Oswald The Lucky Rabbit, and so Michaels could rejoin his partner John Madden on NBC's new Sunday Night Football.
