Always On Sunday

As part of the Monitor strand, and produced and directed by Ken Russell, this was a look at the life and mysterious death of artist Henri ‘Douanier’ Rousseau, played here by Yorkshire primitive painter James Lloyd. Russell wrote the script with Melvyn Bragg, and Oliver Reed provided the narration!
