Anglia's long running Survival spin-off kids series 'Animals in Action' began on the ITV afternoon strand for children in 1980, before moving over to ITV Schools as a Summer Term only series from April 1985. The show was presented by wildlife artist Keith Shackleton, and the series gave younger viewers the chance to witness different aspects of animal behaviour the science behind it.
