We present the start (left clip) and finish (right clip) of the first recorded BBC election results programme. Sadly, only three of the seventeen hours of coverage is currently in the BBC archives and BBC Parliament showed all of the surviving footage in 2005 to mark the 50th anniversary of the vote.
