BBC Scotland Christmas Ident

Simple, but effective ident of abstract Christmas trees from Queen Margaret Drive, Glasgow (BBC Scotland's then home). Ne'erday is the Scots word for New Year's Day, with Hogmanay being New Year's Eve. The main promotion here is Sportscene, BBC Scotland's sporting programme, and the name is still used today, unlike rival STV's Scotsport, which was dropped in 2008. By the way, the 2nd January remains a public holiday in Scotland.
