Promotion for Parkinson at the Pantomime into Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Probably one of the most sinister Christmas idents ever of a double-faced Santa Claus head. BBC1 almost didn't have a Christmas this year due to industrial action. This particular ident could be seen being assembled during news reports about the strike. The Stage criticised the choice, claiming it looked like the severed head of The Good Old Days producer Barney Colehan!
