BBC1 Schools – Clocks and Dots

The diamond was retired altogether in September 1977 and replaced by a countdown clock, affectionately known as "the dots" for obvious reasons. An interesting story here but initially the centre ident revolved, as seen here. That wasn't supposed to happen! The music is "Justine" by the Bruno Nicolai Orchestra.
