The late great Bob Monkhouse hosted his own show for 5 years in the BBC, focussing on the art of comedy and comedians. Famous guests include Frankie Howard, Bob Hope and Pamela Stephenson, who terrifed the life about poor Bob by destroying some of the set with a gun and blowing up a camera with a rocket launcher. Unbeknown to Bob, the whole thing was staged.
