BBC Knowledge

BBC Knowledge – the BBC’s education channel was launched on January 1st 1999. The channel went 24 hours a day from 17th November 2001. (Previously BBC Knowledge was available via Digital Terrestrial TV until noon at weekends). After just 3 years on air the channel was permanently closed on March 2nd 2002.
