BBC South Symbol ~ The image shown on the left is courtesy of Francois Frappe. Francois took this black and white photo of a transmission from the Chillerton Down trasmitter in 1970. The right image shows another variation of the BBC South symbol later in the 1970s minus the white strap, and given an outline treatment.
