British Rail

Chuffing marvellous! We think this dates from around 1987 when the BR colours for Intercity services changed from blue and yellow to Swallow grey. The steam loco is the famous LNER express engine 'Flying Scotsman' pulling Pullman luxury coaches with the modern engines being HST 125 diesel electrics with Mk3 coaches. The tune is 'Coronation Scot', which was used by BBC Radio for the theme for the Paul Temple detective stories.
