At the start of 1993 Business Breakfast became a programme in its own right and was extended to 60 minutes. This edition was the final time that the old Breakfast News graphics were used because the next edition, five days later, was the day when BBC News went virtual and the news got a uniform look for all BBC1 bulletins.
