In 1994, Catchphrase became Independently produced by Action-Time for Carlton Television. For the show’s 10th series, a brand-new set of titles that were produced by Howard Watkins, while Simon Etchell was tasked with reworking Ed Welch’s classic theme by bringing it up to date. Both the opening titles and theme arrangement were both used until 1999 when the show’s producers decided on relaunch for the show to accommodate the upcoming new millennium. long-serving host Roy Walker was replaced by the much younger Nick Weir. This repeated 1995 edition was voiced over by former Granada continuity announcer Charles Foster.
