Note the similarity to WCAU’s 1995 open, only this looks nicer, with a shot of the skyline. The theme is Frank Gari’s Enforcer, which is based on the original WBBM/CBS signature theme but with a twist – many cuts are synthesized reorchestrations of the original 1975 theme. They seem to like this theme, having gone back to it two subsequent times after dropping it in 1997.
