Leaping ahead to 1991, this short teaser for 'The Empire Strikes Back' features an astonishingly poor pun in the script, delivered by Thames voice-over supremo Bruce Hammal. Meanwhile, 25th December 1991 turned out to be the last full Christmas Day to be overseen by Thames, fresh from the franchise loss that October; 'Pinocchio' aired at 1.10pm.
