An extremely short-sighted removal man is hired to clear an upper class residence. While haphazardly attending to the task, he chances his luck in proposing to the maid and they soon move into an inherited country cottage for a chaste trial relationship. Ronnie Barker's last sitcom prior to retiring from TV (aged 58) is set in 1937. It reunited him with His Lordship Entertains co-star Josephine Tewson.
