From 16th January 1991 CNN makes history.. John Holliman and Bernard Shaw were the only 2 foreign reporters to be in Baghdad as the first strikes hit the city, when it happened they reported live on the phone to CNN in Atlanta. Bernard Shaw's first words were ,"Something is happening outside." These 2 clips are our earliest recordings
