Country Ways began on TVS in 1984 and continued running on Meridian (and later other ITV regions) until 2008. A gentle programme looking at the nature and people who live in the countryside in the South of england. In the late 1980s with the success of the programme a couple of spin-off programmes were introduced (see below).
