Dear Mother… Love Albert

Way back in the day, before Dennis Waterman was singing the ‘feem toon’, Rodney Bewes was already belting them out in this sitcom. You see, Rodney plays Albert, a northerner who packs up his bags and heads down south to the big city of London. But, being the fibber that he is, Albert writes home to his dear old Mum and tells tall tales about all the wild and crazy things he’s up to. Little does she know, the real story is quite the opposite.
