Donald Cammell – The Ultimate Performance

This documentary focuses on the painter and cult film director Donald Cammell, born in Edinburgh to a Bohemian family, Cammell he was a talented painter who suddenly found himself writing and co-directing Performance (1970) with Nicolas Roeg. Cammell committed suicide in 1996 after his final film Wild Side (1995) was taken away from him and recut. This film tells his story by his family and friends.
