Election 83 (1)

Apart from David Dimbleby being the presenter, it was all change for BBC's coverage of the 1983 election. The 1979 theme tune was remixed, Peter Snow replaced Bob McKenzie as Bob had passed away in 1981 and the swingometer was replaced by a target board of hits and misses. We present both the overnight coverage and the daytime coverage, and note the very different titles sequence used in each clip.
