This is one of a series of adverts that Dr Evadne Hinge and Dame Hilda Brackett did for this brand of sherry. The pair at the time were enjoying their own sitcom 'Dear Ladies' on BBC2, after having several series on BBC radio. The remark about lubrication and Morris Minors, refers to the little car's one major weakness. The trunnions on the front wheels needed to be regularly greased, otherwise when turning a corner, they fell off.
