This advert shows Esso, alongside the other petrol suppliers, updating forecourt designs to allow more pumps (and more cars to access them). The 1980s also saw shops expanding their stock to include groceries, etc. This also seems to be an ad for BL Cars, showing a Austin Mini Metro, Austin Ambassador and Morris Ital using the new service station.
