Evening Shade

Burt Reynolds headed his own sitcom, which ran on CBS between 1990 and 1994, where Reynolds played Woodrow "Wood" Newton, a once successful football player who has had to retire due to injury, so he goes to coach the Evening Shade High School football team, which has an awful track record of success.
