Extended broadcasting hours

The CBBC Channel was extended for two hours longer each day until 9pm, starting on 11th April 2016. CBBC's Cheryl Taylor said: "We'll be showing programmes that your mum and dad might enjoy as much as you do – shows like Danger Mouse, Horrible Histories, Operation Ouch and Copy Cats, plus our really popular dramas like The Dumping Ground and The Next Step," Myles from Whoops I Missed the Bus will be the new evening presenter. The longer hours are part of some new changes to CBBC, including the new logo.
