By 1976, a new set was in use – still with the forced perspective desk setup, but curvier and brighter. The blue "EYEWITNESS NEWS" background could be easily swapped out for a background graphic – as demonstrated here, as the director opens with the wrong Roger. Scott Vincent now mentions the date in each voiceover.
