Greg Hurst and Roz Abrams, the then-new 5pm team, toss to Bill Beutel for the 6pm tease. This feels different than the classic 1980s teases largely because Bill reads the entire tease – there are no appearances by the EWN reporters. Even with the more sophisticated look, WABC still remained quite conservative with its look.
