Eyewitness News – Gil Noble 11pm tease

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the late weekend editions of Eyewitness News were only 15 minutes long and aired at 11:15, immediately after the ABC News' late-night "Weekend Report". Gil Noble was a fixture of these late editions, fronting them until the mid-1980s. Gil Noble remains with the station today, as host of the public affairs program "Like It Is". He is practically the last surviving link between the 1970s and 80s WABC, and the station it is today.
