For Family Fortunes’ 22nd and final series in 2002, ITV’s then schedulers moved the show out of prime-time and into a daily Monday-Friday afternoon 5:30 p.m. timeslot. After 15 successful years as host of Family Fortunes, Les Dennis left the show. Andy Collins then took Les’ place as host. Roger Tilling, best-known for being the voice of the BBC’s University Challenge, now introduced the families. Viewing figures for the daytime version were on the slide, and one of ITV’s once popular, long-running game shows ended in December 2002.
