This children's programme occupied the 12:10 to 12:30 ITV lunchtime slot. It was written by Rick Vanes and presented by Beryl Reid, Stephen Boxer and Mooncat. The show ran for 89 episodes between 1981 and 1983. It then became "Mooncat & Co" for 33 episodes in 1983 and 1984. Mooncat was made and operated by David Claridge, who went on to become Roland Rat. Due to this a new puppeteer was brought in to operate Mooncat for the "Mooncat & Co" series.
